Pneumonia, camping and the Tooth Fairy...Oh, my!

What a weekend these little girls have had! On Friday, Hope's cough had gotten bad enough for me to pull her out of school and rush her to the pediatrician. Luckily, she hadn't run a fever at all but Dr. Hannah (yes, Hannah is his last name) heard a rattling in Hope's bottom right lung and diagnosed it as pneumonia. This is the same day that Hannah and I are suppose to leave with her Girl Scout troop for a camping weekend in Shakamak State Park. Chad reassured me that he would take excellent care of Hope (and he sure did, Hope had lots of chocolate ice cream to prove it) and sent Hannah and me off on our fun weekend. There were 7 moms and 8 girls camped out in this great cabin. We went on a nature hike where the girls found a box turtle, played lots of fun mommy/daughter games (like the 3 legged race), watched a variety show that the girls put on and roasted hot dogs and made s'mores and told silly ghost stories by the camp fire. And to top it all off, Haanah's tooth fell out Saturday night. She woke up this morning to find a trail of glitter leading to a note and 2 small horse toys. Happy Mother 'a Day, everyone!
