We had a Great 1st Day!

They had a great first day! I was one of the anxious moms waiting in line a little earlier than necessary. They were all smiles and had great green light days. Hope even made a self portrait

1st Day Of School

First day if school has started with many tears from this mom. How can my babies be this big? This fast? They woke up to a big breakfast. Put on the outfits they picked out. Posed for a ton of pictures and got got the apple cookies for their teachers. That Hannah insisted they bring. They both keep telling me, "it's okay, Momma. I'm going to have a great first day!"

Indiana State Fair

We had a fun, hot and exhausting day at the Indiana State Fair. We started with bar b q and snow cones. Then it was off to animator's exhibit followed by the dairy cows in the livestock barn where the girls pet a calf. We rode the Ferris wheel and rode ponies. Finally, the girls learned how to be farmers in a children's farm activity. They learned to milk a cow, pick chicken eggs, plant seeds and sheared sheep. What a great way to spend our last summer weekend.
