Last concert of the Summer

We made it to the last concert of the summer at Fishers amphitheater. It started out drizzling and cold but the rain eventually let up. We listened to local band called the Woomblies while the girls ran, danced, hopped and twirled their umbrellas. It was a great way to end the summer before the start of the new school year. 

Ranpunzel Play

We went to the Children's museum to see Rapunzel! Rapunzel! A Very Hairy Fairytale. We loved it! 3 big thumbs up from the Morcombe girls. 

Lake Glendale Stables Horse Trail Ride

Hope had her first trail ride at Lake Glendale Stables. Hope rode with Jessica on Easter, Hannah rode on Storm, Dad rode Star and I rode Myra on a beautiful hour long ride. We passed a private lake and sandstone ridge. It was such a beautiful morning. We can't wait to head back. 

Our Short and Sweet Trip to the Farm

We had a great visit to the farm this weekend! Dad stopped by Indy on Friday. Then we were up bright and early Saturday morning to head down to the farm. We had steaks on the grill, whole made ice cream followed by a game of dominos. The girls played outside non stop. Then we were up bright and early this morning for a great breakfast at the farm. Then we were off to Lake Glendale Stables for a trail ride before we headed back to Indianapolis.

Teddy Bear Picnic

The girls brought their teddy bears to a picnic at Ritchie Woods. Where they played bear games, learned about the 5 American bear breeds, had a teddy bear picnic, made s'mores and even had a teddy bear craft.
