Chinese New Year at the Iibrary

The girls went to Chinese New Year at the library. The met the author and illustrator to the children's book "Three Sister Dragons". They listened to story, learned about creativity writing and illustrating. They even got their own signed copies of the book! Then it was time for fortune cookies and coloring dragon masks. 

Fishers Ice Festival

We went to the Fishers Ice Festival tonight. The girls loved the lit ice sculptures. Hannah loved the horse and Hope settled for the whale since they didn't have a shark. They made snowman art, ice fished and they even colored snow. 

What we did today

We had a fun day today. The girls used fabric markers to decorate their own shirts. We painted toes (American Girl dolls and my girls). Did some more Shrinky Dinks and Rainbow loom bracelets. Then it was time to get back out there and play in the snow. 

Snow Day Fun

During these snow days we've keep ourselves busy with board games, snowball toss game, parachute popcorn game and even a finger puppet theatre. And those are just the things I forgot to take pictures of...lol.
