Mulan Play

We saw the Mulan play at the children's musuem this afternoon. It was really good. The girls even got their pictures taken with Mulan and Mushue. The girls loved the Take me to China exhibit, Great Wall of China slide and checking out the terra cotta warriors. We left just as a tornado warning was issued but we safely made it back home.

Monsoon Madness

We met Hannah's best friend at Holland Park this morning for Monsoon Madness. They had 7 inflatable water slides and the girls tried all of them. They had snow cones and Jet's pizza for lunch. After 3 1/2 hours the kids were completely worn out. Somehow they managed to talk me into ice cream for the ride home.

Happy Father's Day!

We want to send out a special Happy Father's Day wish to the Grandpas, Great-Grabdpa and to Daddy. The girls painted ice cream bowls for their Grandpas and sent Granddad his favorite candy bars Goo-Goo Clusters. They decorated ice cream bowls for Chad and Snickers Ice Cream, frozen Snickers and made him cards. Then even served him breakfast in bed. Happy Father's Day!

Hope is one happy camper

Hope went to Summer day camp at Ritchie Woods this week. She absolutely loved it! She played outside exploring and learning about animals and insects. It was cool, rainy and muddy almost the entire week but that just ment she got to play in the mud with her new friends. She can't wait to go back next summer. She ended her last day signing a bumble bee song to parents and roasting marshmellows and eating s'mores by the campfire with her big sister.

War Bird Expo

We went to the War Bird Expo at our local Fishers Airport. It was so cool! The girls got to sit in a helicopter and a search and rescue plane where they got a mini lesson in aviation from the pilot. We watched all kinds of plans and helicopters take off and land and even learned some American history. Touch a truck seems pretty lame now.
