Jack-O-Laterns

We craved our pumpkins yesterday. After playing with blue slime with water and cornstarch (the girls pretended they were witches). It was time to decorate animal crackers with frosting and sprinkles. Hope found the idea in a Halloween book. The even made mini Jack-O-Laterns with some whole made pumpkin pie play dough. Finally, we started carving pumpkins. The girls drew on the faces on their pumpkins, then they helped to dig out the seeds for Daddy's super spicy pumpkin seeds. Happy Halloween, everyone!

Jumping in leaves

After riding bikes and scooters the girls had a great idea; leaf pile! They were too excited to take off helmets but it was still big Fall fun.

Painting Pumpkins

We went to Wine and Canvas to paint pumpkins for Halloween tonight. It was so much fun. Hannah was done in a flash but Hope loves to paint and took her time. I even painted a canvas. Guess where they want their next birthday party?

The Bat Encounter Show

Last year, we saw the Bat Encounter Show at the Children's Museum and the girls just loved it. We knew we had to go back this year. We were stuck in line halfway through the Haunted House when the show started. Once we were out we rushed through the massive crowd only to find the doors locked and closed. Hannah was about to throw out our tickets when the doors open to let some people out. We snuck in and caught the last half of the show. It was great and I was much braver than last year.

The Haunted House

We made to the Children's Museum 'a Haunted House. The theme this year was the Time Wrap. Since they've been doing this haunted house for 50 years. This one may have been very favorite. Hope went in her great white shark costume but poor Hannah costume won't come in till Monday. She had to make do with her Halloween outfit.
