Happy St. Patty's Day!

The girls woke up to find a trail of shamrocks leading to a bucket full of green dress up, green silly string, green glow bracelets, four leaf clovers, shamrock stickers, green bubbles and green mustaches. Then they came downstairs to a green breakfast; shamrock shaped scones with green glaze, kiwi/strawberry smoothies and green grapes. I packed them a green lunch with rainbow goldfish, shamrock shaped sandwiches, green grapes and lucky charm rice crispie treats. They were completely pinch-proof dressed in green at school today. When I picked them up they had shamrock shakes (just a little and froze the rest) and mint Oreos. After homework they had a green silly string fight in the back yard followed by lime Popsicles and shamrock art projects. Dinner consisted if green milk, Mac n cheese, green apple sauce, edemame and green grapes. They had mint chocolate chip Klondike bars and green cupcakes for dessert. St. Patty's is one of my favorite holidays. The girls sure seemed to enjoy it, too.
