Trick-Or-Treat

We had some pretty bad storms here on Halloween so trick-or-treating was pushed back a day. Hope didn't mind a bit but Hannah was a little upset. Lucky for us we had great weather yesterday. Hannah was an adorable unicorn and Hope was Megladon (a prehistoric shark) for Halloween. We covered almost four miles trick-or-treating. We came across a couple scary, haunted house style houses which Hope flat out refused to approach. Hannah on the other hand, knew it be worth the candy and had fun getting a little scared. It was a lot fun and 2 1/2 hours later they had quite a haul. We all picked through the loot taking what we wanted (and what was safe for Hope) but Chad is notorious for hoarding Snickers and yesterday he was in rare form. Monday, after school we'll take a brown paper grocery bag full of candy to the dentist. Where the girls will earn a $1 a pound and the candy will be sent to the troops. What a sweet end to one of our favorite holidays! The girls have already started planning their costumes for next year. :)
