We had our most eventful trip to Southern Illinois yet. We started out with a great visit to Julie and Mike's where the girls had a blast playing in the park. Ended the evening with a trip to the ER at Julie's hospital with Hope. Hannah had shut the door on Hope's finger and it seemed like it was broken. Luckily, it wasn't and Hope made out like a bandit with a ton of stickers after charming the pants off of all of the nurses. With that crisis adverted we headed to the farm. We had a great visit, the girls played outside and Hannah not only learned to play dominos but beat us all twice. We ended the game to bathe the girls and put them to bed. Only to find a headful of lice in Hope's hair. After many, tearful Lice treatments on both of our parts (a big thanks to Julie and Mom for heading back to Paducah at midnight to get more) we finally eradicated them and cleaned the farm. Then it was time for horse back riding. Where halfway through the ride Carol brought the girls back and Hope was sans one boot. It turns out Hope had convinced Carole to take her off the lead and Watch Eyes promptly trotted off. Hope did great and calmly, stayed on despite loosing a boot. Carole brought them back. Took Hannah off Easter and put her on Lily and off they went again. It was another great adventure in an already exciting weekend. Thanks to everyone for putting up with us and all if the craziness that came with us.
