Hope was so excited for Valentine's Day that she was up at 6 and ready to get started. They had heart-shaped cinnamon rolls, bacon, strawberries cut into hearts and strawberry yogurts. Their chairback envelopes had a few little goodies inside; safe candy, valentine's with bracelets, American Girl books with pictures of their AG party, beanie boo stuffed animals and roses from their dad. We were going to go on a carriage and to paint at Cookies and Canvas in Carmel but the cold ruined our plans. So the girls made their own Valentines to out to everyone. The girls made heart shaped pizzas and we're had a heart shaped cookie cake with chocolate ice cream and strawberry sauce for dessert. They were definitely feeling the love yesterday.

Happy Birthday, Mom-mom!
Mom-mom and Mom came to visit this weekend. Originally, they were going to come last weekend to celebrate Mom-mom's 86th birthday. A snow storm warning that resulted in nothing but a dusting of snow made us put their off their visit until this weekend. No matter we celebrated Mom-mom's birthday anyway. We had a great visit. Chad made his pork tenderloin and stuffed mushrooms and Hannah made Mom-mom's favorite apple cake. Of course, there were dominos to be played and Hope beat us all and won her first round.

Girl Scout Cookies, Hot Chocolate and a snowman
The girls had a lot of fun delivering Girl Scout cookies today. Once they came home they couldn't wait to build a snowman. Then it was time to come inside for some hot chocolate and Girl Scout cookies, of course.
