Pumpkin Carving

Nothing like waiting till the last minute to carve jack-o-laterns. Chad even got into on the action while we jammed to the monster mash, I want candy and thriller. The girls saved the pumpkin seeds for Chad to roast and yum did they turn good. 

Boo Bash

We went to Boo Bash last night and boy has it gotten bigger! Local businesses set up booths with all kinds of games and activities. Shooting hoops, mini haunted house, fishing for candy, walking the plank, karate chopping wooden boards, picking rubber ducks out of a pond and lots of wheels of fortune. After each game kids get candy, coupons, etc. It's a lot of fun but it gets crowded so fast.  

Haunted House

We went to the children's museum's haunted house today. The theme this year was the haunted carnival. It was good scary fun. 

Happy 9th Birthday, Hannah!

Hannah woke up this morning to a room full of balloons and streamers. Just like her little sister did on her birthday Hannah was up at 6:00am this morning. She couldn't wait to put on her beautiful American Girl outfit from Grandma and Grandoa Nalevac. Then it was time for birthday pancakes. She brought 'Happy Birthday' pencils into school to share with class. I joined her for lunch and she opened a small toy horse from Hope and even got a chocolate cupcake. Since Hannah wanted a puppy cake she also requested hot dogs to go with her puppy theme for dinner. No matter how many times we asked if she wanted to go to for dinner she keep reassuring us that she wanted to stay home. Then it was time for the puppy cake she designed and ice cream. It's hard to believe that my baby girl is 9 years old today.
