Happy 6th Birthday, Hope! And boy, was she ever excited! She woke up a full of balloons. Then it was time for a birthday breakfast with bacon, strawberries and cinnamon rolls. Hope opened her birthday cards and got a Repunzel musical bracelet that she wanted. Hope passed out sprarkly pencils with Happy Birthday flags on them to all the kids in her class. Hope requested Jett 's pizza for dinner. They threw in a free order of cinnamon sticks with frosting that spelled out 'Happy Birthday'. Then it was time for the chocolate shark cake that Hope designed with chocolate frosting. Finally, it was time for presents. Hope has been asking all day to open presents. She got an awesome shark pop-up book, the whale shark she wanted and the megladon ship set she that she's been asking for for months. Happy Birthday baby girl. I blinked and your 6. Where has it gone?

Back to School Tea Party
The girls went to a back to school tea party at the library. It was very cute and girls had so much fun. The librarian read three cute books, then the girls sat down to lemonade and cookies. Next, it was onto crafts where they both made butterflies and their own teapots. Such a cute activity.

Hope lost her 3rd Tooth!
As I was tucking Hope into bed last night she started wiggled her loose tooth and right in the middle of "bye-o" it fell into her hand. She was so excited! This morning and 3am Hope went running into Hannah's room and then ours to tell everyone that the Tooth Fairy had come! Poor Hope was sent back to bed without any of the fanfare she expected. This morning we learned that the Tooth Fairy had left her a mini Thrasher Shark & humpback whale toy (to add to her collection), a note and a trail if glitter in her wake.

Monarch Tagging
We went to the monarch butterfly tagging class at Richie Woods this afternoon. We learned about metamorphosis, how to tell a male from a female and about their migration to Mexico. Then it was time to catch our own. We set out looking for milkweed armed with butterfly nets but came back empty handed. Just like last year I promised we'd try again next Fall.

Ballerina Hannah
Hannah had her first beginner ballet lesson today. She loved it! I'm so proud of my little ballerina.
