Mini Golf

We took the girls to play mini golf at Ben & Ari's. It was fun! We definitely need to go to brush up on our putting skills.  

Canal walk, Storm Troopers and IMAX movies! Oh, my!

The girls have been asking to see an IMAX movie at the Indiana State Museum. Once I found the Great White Shark movie Hope just couldn't wait. Hannah on the other hand admitted to being a little scared. So while Hope and I went to see shark movie Chad and Hannah met Storm troopers (at the museum) and walked the canal. Then it was Hannah and Chad's turn to see Flight of the Butterflies while Hope and I explored the canal. What a fun day!

Night hike at Ritchie Woods

Every summer the girls take a night hike class at Ritchie Woods. This year the theme the Mixed-up Chameleon in honor Eric Carle's June birthday. We started out with a hot dog roast and s'mores. Then the girls made their own mixed up animal art. They listened to Denessa the naturalist read the book. They played a game about camouflage and learned about adaption. We ended with night hike. The were excited to see deer, snails and fireflies.

Saxony Beach

We visited Saxony Beach in the afternoon yesterday. Boy, was it nice. The girls swam and build sandcastles. It wasn't too hot or too crowded. What a great way to kick off the summer!

Water balloons and squirt gun fight

Water balloons have been on our summer bucket list. And today seemed like the perfect day. Of course they take forever to fill up and only seconds to burst. While they waited for me to fill up the water balloons they had a good old fashion squirt gun fight. Happy Summer, everyone! :)
