Our Hope is getting glasses! Hope didn't do well on her preschool vision screening. So we made an Optometrist appointment for today. She is very far sighted in her left eye and slightly far sighted in her right eye with a stigmatism. Hope did a great job and was very brave. She picked out an adorable pair of pink glasses that will be ready in one week. She is so excited!
Hannah Renae was born October 14, 2005. Hope Elizabeth was born September 30, 2007.

Newport Aquarium
We took a little trip to Cincinnati yesterday to see the Newport Aquarium. It was pretty awesome! Hope wore her shark-tooth necklace, shark hat and her shark t-shirt. We were ready to go! We started out with lunch at Mitchell's Fish Market overlooking the river. Then we saw drivers feeding shark rays and the girls even got to pet horse shoe crabs and dog sharks. The whole thing was pretty cool but the best part was a tunnel you walked under that was full of sand sharks, ray shark and black, white tip sharks and a huge sea turtle. What a fun day! We can't wait to go back.

EUMC Preschool
It's amazing how quickly two years can just fly by. Here is a picture of Hope's first day of preschool last year at Emmanuel United Methodist. And a picture of her last day of preschool this year. We are so proud of her and how far she's come in two very short years.
Young Author's Night
Yesterday, Hannah's teacher held her own Young Author's Night. Each student stood at the podium and read their, " My Yearlong Adventure" book. Hannah did such a great job!

Touch a Truck
We went to our annual Touch A Truck event in Fishers. The girls checked out the fire trucks, police cars, and construction trucks. It was a lot of fun!
Hope's Preschool Graduation
Hope graduated from Emmanuel United Methodist preschool yesterday. We are so proud of our big girl and can hardly believe these past 5 years have gone so fast. All of the classes walked into the auditorium to, "Pomp and Circumstance" . Then they all sang three songs. Her class was one of only three to have memorized all 9 of their bible verses. Hope accepted a teddy bear and her diploma when she walked the stage. Chad presented our graduate with a bouquet of roses!
